FaceTime Communications names James Fisher Vice President, Business Development
FOSTER CITY, CA - May 8, 2001 - FaceTime Communications, the leading provider of instant messaging applications for enterprise businesses, today announced that it has named James Fisher vice president, Business Development. Mr. Fisher brings over fourteen years' experience in business development and sales with leading software and technology companies such as Oracle, Informix, Linuxcare, Software Technology Corporation and 2Bridge Software.

Fisher joins FaceTime Communications from Optika, Inc., where he most recently served as vice president of Business Development. In this role, he was responsible for developing strategic partnerships that allowed Optika to reach an expanded customer base and ensure its hold in the transaction resolution space. Previously, as vice president of North American Sales for Linuxcare, Fisher built the initial sales force and secured IBM, Motorola, Sun Microsystems and other major accounts for the company. While working for 2Bridge Software as director of Business Development, he secured SAP as a customer. Fisher's experience also includes successfully delivering direct relationships with DHL, Visa International, 'the good guys' and USWest while holding key executive and management positions at Oracle, Informix, STC and 2Bridge Software.
