FaceTime IMAuditor™ 5.0 Extends Enforcement of Instant Messaging Security and
Compliance Policies to Mobile Workers
Industry Standard IM Management Solution Adds Integration with MSN Messenger
Connect for Enterprises; Symantec, Network Associates, and Trend Micro
Anti-Virus Scanning; and EMC Centera
NETWORLD+INTEROP 2004, Booth #123, Las Vegas, Nev.-May 10, 2004-Furthering its
leadership as the world's largest provider of solutions that secure, manage,
and extend instant messaging (IM) and other forms of real-time communications
in the enterprise, FaceTime Communications today announced from the
Networld+Interop conference in Las Vegas its newest release of IMAuditor.
IMAuditor 5.0 expands on FaceTime's award-winning and market-leading IMAuditor
by integrating with MSN Messenger Connect for Enterprises to extend the
enforcement of information security, as well as corporate and regulatory
compliance policies to instant messaging occurring among employees, partners
and customers outside the corporate network. Additionally, IMAuditor 5.0
provides anti-virus scanning of file transfers through its integration with
Symantec, Network Associates and Trend Micro while delivering EMC Centera
support for the central storage and management of IM, email and other
electronic data sources.
As a certified provider of MSN Messenger Connect for Enterprises services,
FaceTime is licensed to support the latest features, including "Anytime,
Anywhere" for mobile workers. With the integration of MSN Messenger Connect for
Enterprises and IMAuditor 5.0, customers can extend the centralized management
and security of instant messaging beyond the firewall to include corporate
communications occurring from a home office, smart phone or other handheld
mobile device. The extension of FaceTime's information security and management
capabilities-including IM logging, auditing, and reporting; administration of
segmented usage policies; controlled dissemination and protection of sensitive
corporate data; spim control and anti-virus scanning for file transfers-is made
possible by the routing of all remote MSN Messenger Connect for Enterprises IM
traffic through IMAuditor 5.0 in a safe and secure manner. Businesses also
reserve full namespace control and identity management to safeguard against
fraudulent use of corporate identities.
"We welcome FaceTime as an authorized partner with MSN Messenger Connect for

for Enterprises at Microsoft Corp. "Together, MSN Messenger Connect for
