FaceTime Researcher Chris Boyd Explores Social Media Hacking in RSA Q&A Session with CNET's Robert Vamosi

findings on teen hacking in a Q&A session with CNET's Robert Vamosi at the RSA
Security Conference held in San Francisco April 7 - 11.

social media and web applications. CNET's Robert Vamosi will interview
FaceTime's Chris Boyd about the new methods security researchers are using, and
the hackers' social media tactics. This session will share how social
engineering and storytelling played a role in his recent discoveries.
Chris Boyd, aka Paperghost, is a globally recognized Internet security expert
whose research has led to numerous spyware busts. His expertise is in malware
propagating via instant messaging, and similar vectors using social engineering
to hijack PCs into Botnet armies. Boyd has been named a Microsoft Security MVP
for the past four consecutive years. He is currently senior director of malware
research for FaceTime Security Labs, and webmaster of the CNET Top 100 Blog
VitalSecurity.org.
Robert Vamosi is a Senior Editor and award-winning computer virus and security
columnist for CNET Networks. He has discussed computer security issues on ABC,
CNN, CNBC, NPR, and other national radio and TV networks. He has been quoted in
the New York Times on wireless computer security concerns and has moderated
security panels, including one on privacy and security at the Harvard Business
School.
